Do I have to wear scrubs?
Yes, it is a requirement to follow OSHA guidelines. ALL students must wear a lab coat, mask, and uniform scrubs, top and bottom (no t-shirts or jeans are accepted) and tennis shoes (dress shoes are not acceptable) to attend class, NO exceptions. If requirements are not followed you will be rescheduled for a following date.
In this complete course you will be given an Intro to Digital Cad/Cam Technology, enter case data into the Cad/Cam system, create the type of restoration to be displayed after scanning, review of basic scanning and design protocol, use of materials, antagonist scanning, axis finder for path of insertion, mark margins & design a full contour crown. Using designing tools, such as : Form, Wax Drop, Scaling, and Positioning & Rotation. You will then mill, stain & glaze your designed crown to take with you upon completion. You will also learn advanced designing techniques, including: correlation, replication, quadrant restoration and reduced down crown design. It will also include MOD inlay, anterior & posterior bridge design.
COURSE COMPLETION
All courses must be completed within 30 days of the start date. This includes all required documents and a copy of a valid American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS CPR card only. Extension fee will apply on day 31. Courses not completed on time are subject to an extension fee.
No Previous Dental Experience is required for this course
COURSE LENGTH
This course will be 4 weeks (1 month). Call for the complete course schedule. Students will complete and take home a finished crown. Upon completion of the Course each student will receive a Certificate of Completion.

*All students must be at least 16 years of age.
*This course requires a valid CPR card issued by either American Heart Association BLS or Red Cross BLS. The Dental Board is very strict, so no other cards will be accepted.
