Continued Education Units (CEU)

CDC offers certification courses for the mandated biennial licensure.

Requirements for dental professionals are as follows including:

  • Basic Life Support (4 CE Units)
  • 2 Hours of California Infection Control (2 CE Units)
  • 2 Hours of California Dental Practice Act (2 CE Units)

Dentists: 50 Hours of CE Units
Registered Dental Hygenist:25 Hours of CE Units
Registered Dental Assistants and Expanded Functions: 25 Hours of CE Units
